My wife and I worked with real estate agent Mrs. Sherri Visser of BHHSTowne Realty in looking for a home, specifically in Governor’s Land (one of the premiere residential communities in Williamsburg). Mrs. Visser is a resident of that community; has a very positive reputation; and importantly for us has worked with military families extensively. She was focused, efficient and allowed extensive time in her schedule to preview homes coming new to the market. Her knowledge of the inventory of homes, as well as eliminating homes not meeting our criteria was exemplary. Sherri listed our house and sold it very quickly. We felt so overwhelmed by the speed of the process that she even offered to find repairmen herself to do the work requested after our home inspection. When she had to leave town to be with her dying father, she asked her husband to come over and see what he could do to help us! She was cheerful and upbeat throughout, giving us good advice along the way and reassuring us to alleviate our worries. When it came time to sell our old home, she assured us her plan for the sale would be successful. She was correct and we signed a contract for full asking price three days after we moved out.
